UTM Checker

See which UTM tracking parameters a URL carries — and whether the redirect chain keeps, changes, or drops them.

What are UTM parameters?

UTM tags are query parameters added to campaign links so analytics tools can attribute traffic: utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content. Example: ?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=spring.

Why redirects matter for UTM

Redirect hops frequently rewrite query strings: trackers append their own parameters, landing pages normalize or strip them, and shorteners sometimes drop them entirely. Broken attribution is usually invisible — the result's tracking panel lists every parameter found across the chain, and the UTM analysis compares the initial and final URL for every parameter that was added, changed, removed, or preserved.

Only the five standard UTM fields are analyzed — arbitrary query parameters are reported separately in the result.
