URL Shortener

Turn long URLs into short /go links under your management key: destinations are validated (credentials rejected, unsafe targets refused), codes are crypto-random, and every link carries click statistics. Disable, expire or delete a link anytime — the short URL stays yours.

How it works

A short link is a validated destination behind a crypto-random code: opening /go/{code} answers a 302 redirect to what you stored. Destinations are checked at create and edit time (syntax, credentials, unsafe-address classification); the redirect itself only looks the code up — nothing is fetched, and query parameters on the short link cannot change the destination. Clicks are counted per redirect request — today, last 7 days and last 30 days. Links can be disabled (public 404, statistics kept), re-enabled, given an expiry, or deleted (soft delete: the code stops working and the link leaves the list).

Key and privacy

Links belong to your management key — the same key as monitors and status pages; the copyable list link carries it, so store it safely. The redirect stores no IP addresses, no user agents and no referrers, and "clicks" means redirect requests — not a claim about humans.
